Can I change the design or layout after Story Mode creates the book?
Yes. Story Mode gives you a starting point, and the editor lets you continue customizing the book. You can adjust layouts, replace photos, edit text, add pages, and make other changes before checkout.
Can I start from a template instead?
Not in Story Mode, but we plan to add this soon so stay tuned. In the meantime, you can always create a book from scratch in the Mixbook Studio™ to use any of our themes through the Mixbook app or Mixbook.com.
Can Story Mode use the same designs I picked for past books?
Not the exact same design, but if you tell Story Mode the style you want, it can design your book to feel similar.
Why do the cover options look different from each other?
Story Mode may generate multiple cover directions so you can choose the one that best fits your story. Some covers may emphasize different photos, colors, or themes. You can choose the closest option and then customize it in the editor if you want to make adjustments. You can change the title, replace the cover photo, adjust text, and update the design before ordering.
What can I make with Story Mode?
Right now, only photo books. But we hope to add other keepsakes, like cards and calendars, in the future.
Can I keep all three versions of my book created by Story Mode?
No, only one of the three versions can be saved per session.
