Can I choose how much text Story Mode uses?
Story Mode may offer different text/story options depending on the experience. If you want a more detailed book, choose the option with more story or include a prompt like, “Please include meaningful captions and short story text throughout the book.” You can also edit or remove text later.
If I choose “no text,” will you still add a title to my book?
Yes, the cover will always have a title. You can change or remove it later in Mixbook Studio™.
Can I change the title, captions, or text after Story Mode creates the book?
Yes. Once your book is generated, you can open it in the editor and customize the text, titles, photos, layouts, and pages before ordering.
What does “short caption” or “just a little text” mean? Give me an example.
A short, punchy line that captures the moment. For example: “Sunset in Santorini” or “Family time at the lake.”
Can I tell Story Mode the names of people or pets in my book?
Yes. Adding names, relationships, and pet pronouns can help Story Mode create more personal titles and captions. For example: “This book is about Kimmy and Jason’s trip,” or “Our dog Bella is female; please use she/her.”
Give an example of “no text", "A little text", "more story” ?
No text will only provide a cover caption. "A little text" will be snappier photo captions and "More story" will be a longer, more descriptive caption, like: “We arrived in Paris on a sunny afternoon, wandered quiet streets, and ended the day by the Eiffel Tower.”
How do you decide where text goes?
Story Mode adds captions where there are natural breaks in your story, like at the start of a new section, or when introducing a moment.
How are captions created?
They’re a mix of the details you share with Story Mode, and what Story Mode sees in your photos.
Can captions be turned off?
Yes, you can select "no text" so none will be added (except for a title) if you choose that option within the chat conversation
Can I choose the font for my captions?
Yes, but not in Story Mode. The font comes from the style of the photo book you choose. You can switch fonts in Mixbook Studio™ after Story Mode creates your book.
Can I zoom in to review the text before editing or ordering?
In preview, try tapping into an individual page or opening the book in the editor to review details more closely. If text is hard to read in preview, the editor is the best place to inspect and adjust it before placing an order.
