As of July 2026, The Maps feature is no longer available in Mixbook Studio. You can no longer create new map images, and any map images already in your projects will need to be replaced before you order.
What this means for your existing projects
If a project you created earlier includes an image made with Maps, that image will need to be replaced. Your other photos, text, and layouts are not affected.
We recommend checking any saved projects that used Maps, especially travel books, wedding books, or anything you plan to reorder.
How to replace a map image
- Open your project in Mixbook Studio.
- Find the page with the map image.
- Select the map image and delete it.
- Add a new photo or design element in its place. A photo of your destination, a scanned printed map, or a background from our design library all work well.
- Preview your project before ordering to confirm everything looks right.
