If you are receiving a refund for any reason, most refunds take 7-10 business days to reflect on your statement once they have been issued.
All refunds will go back to the original form of payment. We also offer Mixbook gift card as an alternative to a refund if you no longer have access to your original form of payment or you would prefer a gift card over a refund.

How do refunds work if I paid with PayPal?
When we issue a refund on a PayPal order, it goes back to PayPal, not directly to your bank or card. PayPal then returns the money based on how you paid:
- Credit or debit card: The refund goes back to that card.
- PayPal balance or linked bank account: The refund typically goes to your PayPal balance.
- PayPal Pay Later: The refund is applied to your Pay Later plan, reducing or canceling your remaining payments.
Refund showing in your PayPal balance? If you’d prefer the money in your bank account, you can transfer your PayPal balance to your linked bank account from the PayPal app or website. Mixbook can’t move funds once they’re with PayPal.
Refunds can take several business days to show up after we process them. If you don’t see yours, check your PayPal activity first for a refund confirmation, then reach out to PayPal directly.
How do refunds work if I paid with Klarna?
When we issue a refund on a Klarna order, it goes back to Klarna, not directly to your bank or card. Klarna then applies it based on where you are in your payment plan:
- Still making payments: The refund reduces your remaining balance, and upcoming payments are lowered or canceled.
- Already paid in full: Klarna returns the money to the payment method you used to pay them.
Refund showing as Klarna credit? In some cases, the refund appears as a balance or credit in your Klarna account rather than going back to your bank or card. If you’d prefer the money back in your bank account, contact Klarna and ask them to transfer the credit to your original payment method. Mixbook can’t move funds once they’re with Klarna.
