My project says "Saving Error"...

A "Saving Error" can happen if your project is left open for a long time, opened on multiple devices and/or opened on multiple tabs at the same time. 

Not to worry—here are a few steps to help you get back on track and protect your progress.

Quick Fix: Re-login on a New Tab

1. While keeping your Mixbook Studio tab open, open a new browser tab and go to: https://www.mixbook.com/account/login
2. Log in to your account (if you’re not already).
3. From your account dashboard, click “Edit” next to the project experiencing the error.
4. When the project opens in a new tab and displays the front cover, close that new tab.
5. Return to the original Mixbook Studio tab and try clicking “Save” again.

Still Not Working? Use the Cross-Project Clipboard Workaround

If saving still fails, you can transfer your project contents to a new one:

1. Keep the project with the saving issue open in Mixbook Studio.
2. Start a new project in another tab.
3. Select all elements on a page in the original project.

4. Copy and paste using keyboard shortcuts:

   • Windows: Ctrl + C to copy, Ctrl + V to paste

   • Mac: Command + C to copy, Command + V to paste

5. Repeat for each page you’d like to move.
